Explainers from our Knowledge Hub on how this technology works.
Short, factual answers about the TSM 200.
The TSM 200 works on the thermosiphon principle: water heated in the collector becomes lighter and rises naturally into the tank above, while cooler water sinks back down. Circulation happens by gravity alone, so the system needs no pump, no controller and no electrical connection.
The system combines a WUNDER ALS 2512 flat-plate collector with a storage tank of 170 L capacity using an AISI 316L stainless-steel heat exchanger, delivered as a modular kit for roof installation.
Sized at the usual 30-50 litres of hot water per person per day, the TSM 200's 170 L tank covers about 3-6 people's daily demand. In sunnier climates the collector recharges the tank faster, so the same volume stretches further.
