The TSE-VS 160L Tank is specially designed for efficient hot water storage and seamless integration with solar thermal systems, featuring a single heat exchanger optimized for solar heat transfer.
Engineered for Seamless Solar Integration
Storage Tank
The TSE-VS 160L Tank is a solar-ready hot water storage tank featuring a single, precision-engineered heat exchanger coil that maximizes heat absorption from solar collectors for efficient, reliable performance in residential, commercial, and light industrial applications.
Its enamel coating (200–400 µm), compliant with DIN 4753/3 and produced according to TS EN 12897, keeps the water fresh and hygienic while protecting against corrosion and scaling. A magnesium anode and an electrostatically coated galvanized exterior add extra durability, while high-density polyurethane insulation minimizes heat loss and keeps water at an optimal temperature.
Compact and easy to install, the TSE-VS Tank fits a variety of spaces, and an optional electric heater can be added for continuous hot water supply whenever backup heating is needed. Available in capacities from 160 L to 500 L, it combines sustainability, performance, and long-lasting reliability.

Short, factual answers about the Enamel TSE-VS 160L.
The steel vessel is lined with a 200-400 μm titanium-stabilised enamel coating in compliance with DIN 4753/3, backed by a sacrificial magnesium anode. Together they protect against corrosion, abrasion and bacterial growth over the tank's service life.
The TSE-VS carries a single solar-optimised heat-exchanger coil, making it the variant to pair with a solar thermal circuit. For heat pumps choose the TSE-VS HP with its heat-pump-optimised coil, or the twin-coil TSE-VD for combined sources.
As a rule of thumb, size a hot water tank at 30-50 litres per person per day, and go larger — 200-300 L for a family of four — when a heat pump or solar thermal system charges the tank at lower temperature. A 160 L tank typically serves about 3-5 people's daily demand at conventional reheat temperatures, fewer when a heat pump or solar system charges it; households with bathtubs or high-flow showers should size to the peak draw instead.
Yes. The sacrificial magnesium anode is consumed over time as it protects the enamel-lined steel. Have it inspected at the service intervals given in the product manual and replaced when depleted — that keeps the corrosion protection intact.
Maximum working pressure is 6 bar and the permissible boiler water temperature is 95 °C. Heat retention comes from 50 mm of polyurethane insulation under the outer jacket.
