ISH 2025 Frankfurt: Reflections on Renewable Energy Trends and Market Dynamics

As we conclude another successful participation at ISH 2025 in Frankfurt, I am pleased to share some observations and insights from this premier international exhibition for HVAC and renewable energy solutions. For over two decades, Solimpeks has been a regular participant at ISH, witnessing and contributing to the evolution of renewable energy technologies and market trends.
PV-T Hybrid Systems Take Center Stage
This growing interest in PV-T technology validates our long-standing vision of integrated energy solutions that maximize efficiency by simultaneously generating electricity and thermal energy from a single collector. As the market increasingly recognizes the value of such systems, especially in regions with limited installation space and rising energy demands, we are proud to have led this innovation for more than two decades.
How Renewable Heating Industry Giants Are Driving Market Consolidation
The renewable heating sector was well represented by industry stalwarts such as Daikin, Stiebel Eltron, Wolf, and Vaillant. While these companies did not unveil groundbreaking new products, their presence as industry veterans remains significant in shaping market direction.
A particularly noteworthy development was the joint exhibition stand of Carrier and Viessmann Group, following Carrier’s acquisition of Viessmann’s climate solutions unit. Their stand design emphasized this new partnership more than product innovations, signaling a major shift in industry dynamics through consolidation. This merger represents one of the significant structural changes in our industry, potentially influencing competition and market strategies in the coming years.
ISH 2025 Highlights: How Renewable Heating Technologies Are Gaining Global Momentum
ISH 2025 brought together 2,183 exhibiting companies from 54 countries, with 72% of them based outside Germany, highlighting the event’s global significance. Renewable heating technologies, especially heat pumps integrated with PV and battery storage systems, took center stage in Halls 12.0 and 12.1, where major brands such as Bosch, Viessmann, and Stiebel Eltron displayed their latest solutions. Meanwhile, Hall 11.0 featured innovative systems based on biomass, e-fuels, biomethane, and hydrogen, demonstrating a diverse approach to sustainable heat generation.
What Does 2025 Hold for Renewable Energy? Insights from Industry Leaders at ISH
The exhibition provided valuable opportunities to reconnect with our Polish and Greek competitors, allowing us to exchange perspectives on the challenging year of 2024 and discuss expectations for 2025. These discussions revealed cautious optimism across the industry, with many players anticipating more stable market conditions and clearer regulatory frameworks to support renewable energy adoption.
Inside Solimpeks at ISH 2025: Visitor Trends and International Engagement
Solimpeks participated with an impressive stand spanning nearly 200 square meters, staffed by a team of 10 representatives. We were pleased to welcome colleagues from Solimpeks headquarters (Konya, Turkey), Solimpeks Turkey (Izmir), and Solimpeks Germany (Hannover) to our stand.
This year, our booth welcomed approximately 1,000 visitors. Notably, we observed an increase in visitors from across Europe, indicating rising regional interest in renewable heating and hybrid systems. However, there was a significant drop in business representatives from Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, largely due to stricter Schengen visa restrictions. Additionally, the timing of the exhibition during Ramadan affected participation from many Muslim-majority countries.
