Türkiye Central Bank: Inflation, Interest and FX Expectations for End-2025
Türkiye closes 2025 under one of the world's tightest monetary stances. After consumer inflation peaked at 75.45% in May 2024 and the central bank lifted its policy rate to 50%, disinflation is under way — annual CPI was 32.9% in October 2025 and the policy rate had been cut to 39.5% — and the end-2025 expectation is further gradual disinflation, cautious rate cuts only as progress is sustained, and cautious stabilization of the lira — provided orthodox policy holds and structural reforms advance.
