Solimpeks has launched a new training series in partnership with ISKID (İSKİD), the Turkish Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturers' Association. The programme pairs ISKID's educational network with our solar technology experience to close a growing skills gap — giving technicians and industry professionals the specialised knowledge the clean energy transition increasingly demands.
What the series covers
The curriculum concentrates on three areas shaping today's renewable energy landscape. First, solar thermal solutions: system design, installation and maintenance for residential and commercial settings, grounded in how collectors turn sunlight into hot water and cut dependence on conventional fuels. Second, energy efficiency: insulation strategies, smart control integration, and the regulatory frameworks that govern energy use in buildings and industrial processes. Third, best practices: system monitoring, quality assurance in the spirit of certification schemes like Solar Keymark, and methods for integrating solar thermal with other renewables — including hybrid approaches such as PVT.
Why Solimpeks and ISKID
The partnership pairs complementary strengths. Solimpeks brings decades of manufacturing experience and a presence in 96+ countries; ISKID, as Turkey's association of air-conditioning and refrigeration manufacturers, brings local industry knowledge, policy advocacy, and a network that reaches across the sector. Together, the two organisations are well placed to help shape industry standards for sustainable heating and cooling — and to speed the adoption of renewable solutions tailored to emerging-market needs.
What participants gain
Trainees get hands-on technical work with current solar thermal and photovoltaic systems — the kind of practice that builds real installation and maintenance confidence. The series doubles as a networking platform, connecting installers, engineers and project managers who rarely share a room otherwise.
What's ahead
Upcoming modules will track new technologies, safety protocols and regulatory changes, with focused segments on solar-thermal hybrid integration and strategies for raising energy yields. The ambition is long-term: continual professional development that lifts individual careers and collective industry standards at the same time.
